Postal destruction stopped
Lieberal Democratic Party, which is now a minority opposition, abstained from voting to hide the existing internal cleavage. If members of LDP participated in the deliberation, reportedly about twenty memebers were expected to vote 'for' the bill.
The bill is part of the government's review of postal privatization, which was spearheaded by former Prime Ministe Junichiro Koizumi and Prof. Takenaka, then Minister in charge, and privatization bill was introduced by the so called assasin election in which several LDP members were compelled to vote for the privatization against their will, and now the situation seems to be reversed.
Privatization, deregulation, and other erosion of the public shere were the three pillars of the market fundamentalism which destroyed not only Japan but also the rest of the world.
Trinkle effect did not happen and only a handlful number of people dominated the wealth of the world and it may be worse and uglier than the tyranny of the dictatorship of the communism in the Cold War days.
At least in Japan, as reported the fake privatization and exploitation of the postal services are now successfully blockaded. One disastrous experiment of the Shock Doctrine could be stopped. The resistance against the market fundamentalism will definitely prevail.
