American trade practice is unfair.
There is a news report that Ambassadors at the World Trade Organization in Geneva is going to convene to lodge a complaint about surrounding the Postal reform. Toward the end of March there was also a repost that the US Trade representative in Washington D.C. are especially complianing the Japan's Postal reform to raise the deposit cap at the Postal Savings Bank citing citing an unidentified U.S. official at the Office of the Trade Representative.
And further news reported that a trilateral meeting involving the ambasssdor level officials from EU, US and Japan will convene consultative meeing in Geneva.
The news reported that the US Trade representative office is concerned raising the cap at Japan Post’s banking unit would give it an unfair advantage over foreign companies.
Postal Privatization in Japan was heavily influenced by the villains of the Wall Street including the financial sharks including the Government Sachs and the dark side of the transactions of the foreign interests should be revealed out. At the momoent when the Fool's Gold are no more existend and it is ridiculous for the foreing trade negotiators to preach and support the neo-liberal economy when Obama government maintains the state enterprise of the United States Postal Service and there are strong voices to establish the simiolar post bank in the country for the universal financial services for all walks of life.
Japanese ambasasdors should not participate in the conspiracy meetings and refrain from the tyranny of the market fundamentalism.
Japanese Post Office is not any more state enterprise and it is not adequate to be regulated under the WTO rules and regulations. Japan Post is not totally supported by the tax payers money and no subsidy from the Governmet, it should be only left under the healthy and well balanced principles of economy.
Financial scandals involving American companies should be investigated. For instance the memorandum or records of discussions between Mr Zoelick, former USTR and then Minister, reportedly met more than thirty times, should be disclosed. Those governments should pay attention to the Shinsei bank and other financial take over scandals.
Intervention into the domestic affairs such as the Postal reform should be stopped. Pretending to be a superior business models in Europe and US were not necessarily a productive one. Trade negotiators should not represent only a handful minority businessmen and rather shoud represent the stabilizing factor of the world economy.
